Review on 🎧 Jabra Engage 65: Experience Enhanced Wireless Performance with the Advanced Noise-Cancelling Mono Headset by Tim Jenkins

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Love so much hate a little

Edit: I've been using this headset for 6 months 4-8 hours a day and have nothing to add to my review, still great, no issues. Would definitely buy again. I've been looking for a good headset that also connects to my phone and here it is. I'm giving 5 stars to make up for all the bad reviews because it seems like you're going to have a good time using apps that work well with it. I think these issues are more related to the apps than the headset, but? For reference, my great experiences with this headset are with: 3CX, Zoom, Teams, Webex, Firefox. I haven't had any problems with the app yet. Advantages (non-exhaustive): -Connects to mobile phone via Bluetooth! -Excellent sound quality -Physical mute button! (My old headset had a mute button, which caused problems that I don't think need to explain.) - Voice notification that I'm muted - Integrates well with many of my apps. Mutual muting (I mute the app and the headset base icon turns red). 3CX, Zoom, Teams - setup is a breeze. Cons: - The mic is short and a bit directionally sensitive, so if I point it a little up or too far behind my head, no one can hear me. "It's godlessly uncomfortable for a while. I'm used to it, so I hardly feel it until I think about it.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Hard to say
