First let me explain that I bought this during a clearance sale for about $50. A bargain compared to the (current) price of $155. Someone bought it, returned it and I got the chance to be the lucky new owner. A man's trash... Well, it's a piece of pine. Please do not take negative feedback too seriously. These are people who think they know better, but they don't. Of course you can buy a $35 pine tree from a nursery and let it grow for 10 years and then take it to your mill to cut it down and then you can take your tools and manually scrape the bark off and then 3 coats of varnish Instruct. on this one and call it a day. If you have all these resources. Or you can simply buy this item. Much simpler, cheaper and less labor intensive solution. That is hard. Like 50 pounds. Looks exactly like the photos in the ad. Obviously each of them will be unique. The finish is good. Natural cracks (cracks) in the wood can cause the paint to flake off over time. I keep a can in my garage to spray with when needed. Overall I really like this part. For what I paid it was worth it and I would buy 7 more at this price if I could. If you're looking for a piece of wood to use as a side table, you can't go wrong with this one.
