What a weird product. First night using it I stayed in bed all night for the first time in years. It kind of hurt the first night - 15 lbs of blanket feels easily double that.But sleeping an entire night? Unprecedented. I bought the duvet cover and place the blanket directly over the top sheet. Strangely not hot too (Dec - Jan). My quality of sleep is vastly improved.It's washable, ceramic beads, but I have not tried yet. I thought the bead pockets were too large but they seem to be fine.I think it improves sleep by preventing movement, more of a reminder than a restraint. Start to flop and the weight resists. Body gives up and goes on sleeping.
