I have a new computer at work, a 10.8 x 16.3 x 1.2 inch Dell 7730 laptop that didn't fit in the old bag I was using. I have a computer on wheels. Bag I carry on the go but was a bit big for everyday use so I was looking for a larger shoulder bag and found this KPL. I've been using it for about two weeks now and I'm happy with it. My computer just fits in. It's narrow enough that I can't just insert the computer with one hand. However, getting in and out of the computer seems easier, either because the bag is looser or because I've gotten more used to it. I like that the bag stands on its own. My old little shoulder bag that I loved couldn't sit up straight. This bag can stand next to my desk so I can put my computer in it when I leave the office. It's a very large bag and I only use it to carry my computer from home to the car to the office and back again. I keep a few other items in it, including a small umbrella, but I don't try to plug in the power supply, preferring to have one at work and one at home. For real road trips I use the wheeled bag. I like that the shoulder strap is detachable. I removed the padding from the strap because it was too wide for me to be comfortable and I prefer to just use the strap without it. When my computer is loaded, the bag bounces uncomfortably off my hip as I walk, so I keep my hand on the front of the strap to hold the bag, which I really didn't have to do with my old little bag. Front releases are required and work well. I've seen quite a few people asking questions about this and yes, at least my bag has two quick release buckles on the front of the bag that are usually hidden behind buckled straps that connect to the top of the bag. I adjusted these buckle straps on my bag to use the tightest attachment on the top and the top seems a little lost but not enough to punch another set of holes. I had to get used to having two straps - my old little bag only had one, which was more convenient - but given the size of this bag and the fact that it can carry heavier items, I understand why two are needed for quick couplers - I have a photo Made one of these to upload for this review and looking at the photo I noticed that the bracket on the quick coupler already looks broken. It doesn't really make contact with anything other than skin so I don't know why it's so crumpled and it doesn't matter as it's hidden most of the time. on my old bag and only got it for my new computer but for the price it's a good bag.
