Microwave lids are what I need when cooking in the microwave. They are made of durable plastic, come in a variety of sizes, are reasonably priced, and have a small opening that can be opened or closed at the top of the lid. The product arrived quickly. I simply cover my plates, bowls, and microwave-safe utensils with plastic wrap (which melts), paper towels (which slide off), or another plate on top during cooking to avoid splattering or steam. Finally I gave in and bought this set of fenders. You have done a great job. Not only do they prevent spatter, they double as a steamer and are particularly good for microwaved salmon and other fish. And buying multiple sizes in one purchase was the deciding factor.
