Perfect fit. Another manufacturer I have previously purchased did not sit flush and interfered with the lid closing. This one is made in the USA and is excellent. A notice. Buy 2. Place one side by side, then place the other in the normal front to back order. I did this with the one that didn't quite fit, so now I have two storage levels and room at the bottom for a first aid kit etc.
