Review on πŸ’» Wacom Mobile Studio Pro 16" Windows 10, Intel Core i7, 512GB SSD: Next Gen by Laura Thomas

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great device for the professional digital artist. Downtime sucks.

Pro: The screen resolution, colors and contrast are really good and the side buttons work well. Stylus pens always look great on Cintiq screens. Disadvantages: standing. While the stand is better than the first-gen Cintiq Companion I had, it still lags far behind. It is tied to the main unit with a fairly flimsy attachment system, which has two ever-diverging flaws. This works well if you're just sitting on a table, but if you're holding it on your lap or moving it at all you can expect the stand to fall off and collapse and you'll have to fumble on your back to secure it again . these tiny pieces. It's lame for something called "Mobile Studio". I would have preferred something permanently attached/integrated like the Surface, or at least semi-permanently attached with screws. Windows Wacom ink still doesn't mix well together. I won't even go into detail because there is already a lot on the net about it.
