I'm 5'6", 159 lbs, 36" bust, 32" ribs, waist 28". Hips are not an issue with this dress. The material of the sleeves has a stretch, so this is a great dress if you don't want to show your arms. There is a button on the L side of the dress where the ribs are Zippered closure so this part doesn't stretch Considering my size I ordered an M but was surprised the center didn't stretch and luckily the dress fit perfectly, it wasn't too tight (like a glove) or too loose. Something that wasn't mentioned in the reviews I read was that there are elastic straps that go over both shoulders to hold the dress in place which was nice.I was wearing a nude bra, which worked great (if you're worried about wearing a strapless bra to need). I was very concerned about the color as some of the photos are very light and some very dark (see the photos in the review for examples; some with or without flash and some with or without development). Looking at the dress, it definitely looks more like a navy blue than a royal blue, although in some flash photos it looks more like a royal color. This dress looks elegant, formal and well tailored, although I had to trim the top edge of the lace at the neck and back because a few strands were sticking out (see photos in this review) and I got lots of compliments. For the price, convenient shipping, fit and feel I will definitely buy this dress again. :)
