Terrible sound. The emphasis is on the bass. There are no upper ones in the standard mode at all. When you turn on the surround mode, the upper ones appear, but the middle ones disappear completely. The sound is disgusting. Even with cheap polk audio satellites, the sound is much better. Not even "significantly", but not comparable . Yes, the satellites do not have bass, but everything else cannot even be compared, how much the sound quality differs. In general, the summary is this: much better than the sound of a TV, but much worse than even simple stereo speakers.
