The loose fit made it possible to wear a slightly larger size.

After looking for covers that fit my slightly different size air conditioner, I tried this one in the hope that one of the sizes would work. It was like this. It has enough slack to slip it easily over the air conditioner and tie securely with a drawstring tie at the bottom and velcro on the side that matches the hoses. I am happy with this item and would recommend it, especially if your air conditioner is a bit oversized.
