I have ordered 2 of this product from Revain, one for each side of our bed. When the delivery came there was only one bedside table. I spoke to customer service and while they couldn't explain why I only got one, they assured me they would send me a second one. No problem, I'll just wait to assemble them when I get the second one. The day the second was due to arrive I unpacked the first and laid it out ready to prepare for assembly as my son and I would be assembling one at the same time. The first one I posted was very good quality natural wood. Good design. Later that day I received a second bedside table, when I opened it I took out a piece or two and something didn't feel right. I compared the pieces with the corresponding ones from the first bedside table and the quality turned out to be significantly worse. In one case it was solid wood, in the other cheaper fiberboard. Strange. I compared two packages: one was made in Thailand (good) and the other (cheap) was made in Indonesia. They had the same product description, same model number, even the same UPC. but the good one was considerably heavier (a good ten or twelve pounds) than the cheap one. Apparently, at some point Home Styles thought it was too expensive to make this product from good materials in Thailand and decided to make it from cheap materials in Indonesia. Revain customer service went out of their way to get me a good replacement, but the next one they sent was a cheap Indonesian version too. I even tried ordering from two other online stores and got cheap versions there. They were all returned even though I didn't open the box. It is possible that I received the latest high quality version of this product available online. So I pay with a good bedside table. My score would be lower if I didn't get the good version and higher if I didn't get some cheap versions. The rating is not reflected in any way by Revain as they can only ship products provided by their manufacturers. This is the failure of Home Styles. If any of you order this and get the Thailand version please reply to this review as I would love to get another one.
