Great shoe, very comfortable out of the box. Two things: the material of the heel is hard so they are noisy when walking on hard surfaces, even if the sole is rubber treaded they can still be quite slippery on smooth surfaces like tile floors. I found them a little difficult to get these shoes. Definitely need to sit down and use a shoehorn as the leather upper is a bit flexy. Once on, they are not too tight at the top. Wore them all day with no hot spots for the first time with no problems. I would recommend a cedar shoe insert so they keep their shape when not in use.
