I've gained a few pounds and now my back hurts more than before. I have a weight lifting belt that I use at the gym, but they aren't meant to be worn for long periods of time - and don't flex much when you move them, inherently. the clockwork we are all used to. I've worn it a few times and I really liked it. I love the 2 stage compression - first the big velcro in the front and then the side velcro to really tighten the strap. I immediately feel the weight off my back and I find it easier to maintain a standing position. After becoming familiar with the harness, I was able to use it for several hours during physically intense, constantly standing jobs that involved moving heavy objects. . At the end of the day, my back still hurt, but that's about a quarter of what it was after similarly intense work in the past. A 75% pain reduction from physically intense work is a product I will endorse and wholeheartedly recommend.
