I liked my first pair of these pants so much I ordered a second pair in grey! These are especially good yoga pants for medium sized girls. I recently jumped from a 4 to a 10 and prefer this style over the foldables in my current size. The waist doesn't pull in but hits the navel and gives good tummy coverage - I can raise my arms and lean forward knowing I'm not putting on a show. The pleats seem to make my butt look better than these, but they are more functional for being active. High quality material, thick and not transparent at all. Definitely warmer than the cheaper cotton yoga pants. I wear them to the garden occasionally and they are more tear resistant than others I've had. They're also the perfect length for me - I'm 5ft 6" in tennis shoes and they come down to the middle of my shoe sole. Their main disadvantage is that they can accumulate static electricity, so sometimes a lot of dog hair and fluff gets stuck to them. The fabric will roll at friction points - do not overdry!
