Not the healthiest option but dogs love it, especially the filet mignon pie. I started feeding this food to one of my Maltese because it was the easiest way to give him anticonvulsants (crushed) twice a day. What one eats, the other should eat, so both of my Maltese ate it. The feeding instructions "2 trays" for a 5 lb dog are seriously overfeeding. Our vet recommended 1/8 pan twice a day. If I'm only giving Caesars for a meal, I'm giving 1/6 of a tray for a meal. When he's not attending daycare regularly to play with other dogs, this feeding log keeps him at 6.75 pounds. He doesn't like our long, hot, muggy summer and is becoming more and more lethargic. After a sudden surge of energy, I noticed he was stealing cat food. Now I give him a small spoonful (10-12 pieces) of Dr. Marty's freeze-dried raw vegetables soaked in water with a few tiny bits of Caesar for garnish. Several times a week he takes a break from Dr. Marty, but only for a few days. Now I have a 10 year old puppy who is jumping around the house. Rarely have I opened the questionable smelling tray from my local HEB. I doubt Caesar's decision to add a green garnish, which looks gross and rancid, although the tray is fine. I've never seen mold, but I also don't empty the tray to show the bottom. From now on I'm ck. My dogs only eat the Filet Mignon and Top Filet versions. They won't touch a turkey and get sick from porterhouse every time they eat it. They won't touch the veggie versions (which are a waste of consumer money anyway) and just like the sauce in the "meat cuts" versions (another waste of money).
