My 9 year old absolutely loves them. She has autism and is very particular about jewelry, clothes, socks, shoes and hair. She has severe sensory issues and Poki, as she calls it, annoys her. I got these for her and she loves them. "Clouds" are hidden in a hoop so she doesn't feel them. They are very light. She said she forgot they were in her ears. I was concerned about the elegance of the earrings but she has been wearing them since she received them a month ago on the day they arrived. There were no snagging, falling apart, falling out, discoloration, gold chipping and no irritation issues. I suggest you clean them. They are new, but like any jewelry worn against the skin, they should be cleaned. These earrings are my daughter's favorite pair.
