I'm writing this review in exchange for getting this item for free (a previous article said to contact them about a new improved article. When I did they said, they wanted a review this one was delayed but now they wanted a review of it this one has a similar suggestion but I didn't follow it it's probably easier to buy a new one but they are different brands)) I could Getting a good cast of my upper teeth, the item stays in place and feels comfortable. If you don't heat them to the point where they turn into a gooey mess, you can repeat the heating and shaping process, which I did. The previous one crumpled up when I tried to remove it and even stuck to the Pyrex cup! I used two coffee mugs which I don't need for this one. They come in pairs so I figured the much larger cup would be for the bottom teeth and the other for the top teeth. Reading the directions more closely, it looks like they're only for the top teeth, although it worked both ways for me. I shaped the top and bottom at the same time, so neither has the marks of another bit on the outside. I can try casting another smaller bit separately to see how it compares.
