I'm using the second one. The former never supported an additional monitor. This has been replaced. It ran for two months and supported two additional monitors (Displayport and VGA), multiple USB devices (microphone, camera, SD card reader, USB receiver for mice, keyboards, etc.). It stopped working after 2 months, somehow, now it can only handle 1 monitor at a time (each one, not both at the same time). The main feature that drew me in was the multi-monitor support. This seems contradictory at best. Everything else seems to work fine. I edit to say it's so delicate and unreliable that I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I've tried many things to keep it running, but daily I encounter monitors turning off in the middle of work and/or screen artifacts when turned on. If it actually works, that's great, but don't take it for granted.
