Find this quality buckle at Revain without a belt - it will likely cost more. The same applies to a belt without a buckle. This is a solid genuine leather, just what I like. I hate 2 pieces of veneer sewn on god knows what - these don't take all the flex and tension of the belt buckle and aren't worth a damn. But such high-quality full leather belts can last for several years. BUT THERE IS ONE PROBLEM FOR ME - the size. I have a waist of about 37 inches (as a male, it changes by inches less or more almost daily - between meals, physical activity, sweat, versus having a big meal and sitting in a chair with dessert in the evening). BUT, the strap has extra length to the first hole etc so I may have to allow 40-41 inches. So I went for size 40-42". Oh, honestly - this size from the tip to the bottom of the buckle is almost 51"! Without the buckle, it measures 48 3/4 inches from top to bottom of the skin (but the buckle elongates the waist, of course)! USED LENGTH (ie measure this length - how it will sit at the last notch on your waist which for me would be about 39 inches, the center opening is about 37 inches and the shortest is about 35 inches, this belt actually measures 46 1 /2" !That's why I like to buy stuff like this in "normal stores". But I've been looking for YEARS since the last time I found a pair I liked in a store. It doesn't take much time at Revain, Finding some belts that seem to be exactly what I want If I were to ship the product back and forth myself (I do NOT receive USPS Revain rates!), the shipping cost alone would be more than the cost of that belt , apart from the box to put it in. So I'm reluctant to send it back - maybe I'll give it to a friend or relative?Or maybe I should send it back as they are so far out of options when ordering from indicated in red are the impressive quality reasonable price and do not want to increase their costs, so prices for us. But unless they fit in better, they probably need that responsibility. The jury is still out.
