Review on 🎧 Razer Thresher Stereo Headset: Lag-Free Wireless Connection - PC, PS4, PS5 Compatible - Retractable Microphone - Custom Sound Control - Long-lasting Battery by Cheryl Bailey

I bought it in January and have used it a lot since then. I had to troubleshoot setup on my PS4, but after plugging an optical cable into my TV during setup, I was able to remove it and had no connectivity or audio issues. I enjoy using this headset, I find the sound great and quite adequate for hours of gaming. The battery definitely doesn't last for 16 hours, but that has never been a big problem for me. Overall I really like using them. However, after just over 7 months of normal use, the plastic that connects the headband to the earcups began to crack. I took good care of them, they weren't damaged, and I used a Razer stand for storage. All this did not prevent the breakage of this plastic. I have to say that I probably have a bigger head than most, but the headset seemed to fit my head well when I was using it. The damage eventually caused one side of the headband's metal mount to come loose and was on the verge of further deterioration. I was thinking of 4 stars but was downgraded to 3 after contacting Razer support for a replacement. It wasn't a quick process, but I eventually received a shipping label to get a free replacement. This was of course during the COVID outbreak so things were expected to slow down. As an aside I left a few messages asking for process updates as I haven't heard anything in 20+ days when the email said the exchange would be processed in three. About a month after the headphones were shipped, I called again and finally got an answer to my complaint. I was told they would process it in two days and deliver it to me overnight but we'll see.
