I'm not sure if it's real leather. It feels like vinyl and is a bit sticky. Maybe matte patent leather. There is an odor of the material which will be gone after a few days. Compared to do-it-yourself, that's okay. Looks as pictured and is very adjustable thanks to the many holes in the front straps. The model shown is 5ft 2in tall and likely weighs less than 100lbs. Very petite.
