Review on Mirrored Turntable LP Phono Cartridge Stylus Alignment Protractor Tool with Optional VTA Adjustment by Steve Hauck

We hate it!.

I hate almost everything about this sensor. First, it doesn't fit on the spindle of my Technics SL1200 turntable - the hole is too small. It's mirrored, which some people thought was a good thing, but it makes your cartridge very difficult to aim at, and god forbid if your dolly has a clear plastic protector, making it even harder to aim. The lines are on the surface and the reflective part is slightly lower. So when you move it, the lines and shadows move and merge. I tried using it as a VTA guide because it has a long line on it and I might be able to put it next to my arm to see if it's parallel to the surface of the record. Uh, not good; the same problems with the mirror. I landed using the yellow magic marker to discard the graphical display while still showing the line. Not the best, but worked better. Do yourself a favor and print one out for free, or get one without a mirror image
