I live in an old house with large single glazed windows and high humidity. I solve the moisture problem from several sides, but when it is very cold outside in winter, a lot of condensation forms on the windows. These towels are great for drying off. They absorb an incredible amount of water and leave no lint on the glass. Then I wring them out and hang them outside to dry. I've had them for at least two years now and they're holding up well. To keep them absorbent, I don't use fabric softeners in the wash—instead, I put 1/2 cup of white vinegar in the wash and 1/2 cup in the conditioner. This keeps towels soft and absorbent with no odor or residue.
