I brought these balls to the orphanage and pumped them up, it was actually a kid who pumped them up so obviously it's easy. I threw away the pump that came with it because it looked like it came out of a gumball machine. (Maybe that would be enough to blow all the balls, but I needed a reliable ball that could be used over and over again.) The balls are of excellent quality, equal in size, completely round, thick and strong in grip and bounce well. They also have a good grip. The mesh pouch was of surprisingly good quality and kept the balls in one place. The kids loved them and when they were out they were always in high demand.
