Review on Sotek Compatible PGI 280XXL CLI 281XXL 281 by Evan Burnside

At first I was so pleased with the quality of the ink for the price. I have ordered this ink 3 times and it lasts much longer than Canon ink cartridges. Everything is great. and then. Since our printer is only 1.5 years old, we now have to buy a new printer as ours is clogged with ink. Canon ink is more expensive because it contains an additional solvent that these cheaper inks don't have. Solvent comes in handy when there is a clog and is easy to remove if your printer has a "deep clean” option. This ink was reported by customer service as being solvent free, which resulted in us having to purchase a brand new printer. Such a disappointment! In the attached photos three different attempts after trying to do a deep cleaning.
