I ordered this item almost a year ago and am now ordering another one. My goal was to line up my crate tray under his pillow. It's thin but perfect for its purpose. Its non-slip backing works better than any I've tried and has survived many, many washes. I'm ordering another one because it's also perfect for our hardwood floors in front of our dog door. We live in Colorado, and with high winds beating through our dog door, nothing else will stay in place. It perfectly absorbs the water from the paws from rain and snow and protects the wooden floor, as well as our elderly princess who does not go to the toilet in too cold, damp, windy, etc. weather. Summer rug I have signs of wear where our dog is trying to break out of the kennel but is otherwise holding up well. I've spent a lot of money on other brands and this is the only one I would buy again.
