I love this coat. I ordered four different ones before deciding this was going to be the new black base coat for years to come. The picture on the website is not true. I think in the picture the model looks like a black version of the Michelin man. A coat doesn't really make you look like a tower of bike tires. It's very flattering. I'm 5ft 2in, 105lbs and ordered xs. If you fit perfectly at first. When you are this petite, finding the right coat can be very difficult. The sleeves are a bit longer, but the cuff style doesn't make it. It's actually nice because when you stretch out your arms, the sleeves still protect your wrists, unlike other coats that pull the sleeves up. I like the bottom zip. I use it all the time. If you choose not to, it may be difficult to walk or get in and out of the car. The stuff seems to be pretty touching so far. I built a fort outside with my kids and stuck tons of sticks in our feet but none of them pierced our coats! My last down was torn and I had to mend it. Hope this one lasts. Also because of the heat, I live in Minnesota and have used it in 15-30 degree weather and it's been great. Of course when it's colder outside I wear a sweatshirt underneath but it keeps me warm, I was surprised! But glad about it. Maybe I don't need to buy his down coat for the winter! Just a note the cut is slim unless you want a fitted coat which probably won't work.
