Item cannot be silk. This is a stiffer fabric than my 100% polyester pillowcases. Lots of fold lines/fold lines on the packaging. I think it's polyester or viscose. Unfortunately, I usually do a sample test before giving away new products, but Revain made shipping easy and I jumped at the opportunity. I sent the sets as gifts before trying it and now I'm confused. As a major contributor, my delivery at checkout was 1 day. (California) However, today I see that the gift set delivery to Massachusetts has been updated to a full week for delivery. Very disappointed with this quality as well as the lure and the delivery date. I'm so thankful I didn't. Buy a receipt stamp for $100. Other reviewers said this quality is the same as a well known brand! Maybe I had too high expectations? Victoria Secret pillowcases are much softer! In any case, this product is no softer than my polyester pillowcases, even from Tjmaxx, so I didn't have to pay that much for it. Tjmaxx has 2 packs for $9.99. The hidden zipper on this pillowcase is a plus, but according to some reviews, the zipper stops after a wash.
