Review on Minnetonka Brown Double Bottom Slip-on Shoes by Matthew Sutton

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Durable and timeless. Casual option for barefoot people, no socks and no falls.

GREAT shoes that last forever! You can wear them top or bottom and they are perfect for people who don't wear socks. I have three pairs of Minnetonka moccasins, but this is my only double bottom version. The only difference is that they are a bit heavier and the rubber outsole is a bit thicker. Given the double full leather construction, they were surprisingly flexible and pliable right out of the box. I wear minimal shoes (the thinnest sole, virtually no arch, no padding, no socks) and this is thicker than ever (probably 0.3-0.4 inches at the thickest point). They will stretch a bit over time, but they can be tightened by getting them wet and allowing them to air dry.

Pros
  • The Minnetonka men's double-sole loafer in rich brown leather is a timeless and versatile style that complements any off-duty outfit, whatever the season.
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all dress styles or outfits
