Yes, there are softer diapers, but what can I say, we got others as gifts. So I gained some experience, learned the difference. All in all I love these diapers. At first I was disappointed because I was expecting something much softer. But the soft ones don't last. Slips, slips easily. What these diapers can't do. They stay in place, wrinkle less (like putting them under a baby to protect the surface from spitting), swaddling is a pleasure, easy to wash, doesn't shrink. Generally much healthier than bamboo. I recommend this product.
