Mineral sunscreen in a spray bottle (can't)!

I keep buying new sunscreen and trying to find a solution to force myself to use it every day. I really liked the products from Elta MD and Badger. I never spend a lot of time on reviews like this one, but since I'm oddly invested in my sunscreen, I'll go over the pros and cons of my favorites. My Warm Opinion: This is a great product for my needs. and I will probably keep it in my car to use at all times. TL; DR My sun protection priorities, in order of importance: 1. Adequate protection - at least SPF 30. Although I prefer SPF 50.2. Mineral Ingredients - Zinc or Titanium Oxide.3. The texture of the sunscreen – I'm fine with a slight white tint, but don't like it when it's chalky.4. Ease of use - so I'll use it.5. Sustainability - I try to use less plastic and aerosol cans (breathable, difficult to recycle). Babyganics SPF 50 Mineral Baby Sunscreen Spray, Fragrance Free (this product) Pros: - CONVENIENT because I can just spray it on! This is my new solution for repeated use in the pool and outdoors for a long time. And it's a spray bottle, not an aerosol can, making it less likely that I'll inhale the product. (And I can reuse the sprayer when the product is finished. Aerosol cans are difficult to reuse/recycle.) - Mineral ingredients: Zinc Oxide 7.25%, Titanium Oxide 3.5%. - Great value! It's 8 ounces. Bottle! I paid $16.65 for 8 ounces. Bottle. It costs just over $2 an ounce - SPF 50 and 80 minute water resistance - Rubs in easily - I can see how much product I'm applying (vs. a spray can) - It's easier to travel with. There are some destinations where aerosol cans are prohibited but aerosol cans are allowed. Disadvantages: Of course, the aerosol can is less convenient than the aerosol can, since the nozzle is a bit more uncomfortable. I think the benefits are worth it! - Fewer active ingredients than my other sunscreens. - EltaMD UV Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF (tinted) Benefits: - Mineral ingredients: Zinc Oxide 9%, Titanium Oxide 7% - Suitable. to light, especially if you only squeeze and apply the product once - Slightly tinted to protect and look beautiful The amount to be used as a sunscreen. Sunscreen can collect into small globules when rubbed (unpleasant and unnecessary product). A bit pricey - about $36 for 3 ounces. Bottle. It costs $12 per ounce - Water Resistant 40 Minutes - Badger Sport Mineral Sunscreen Tin - SPF 40 / Badger Adventure Sport Mineral Sunscreen Tin - SPF 50 - Mineral Ingredients: Uncoated Zinc Oxide 25% - All natural ingredients and very safe for our earth. Water. It's just uncoated Zinc Oxide (active) and Sunflower Oil, Beeswax and Sunflower Vitamin E (inactive). There are no ingredient names for me to google. And 98% of the ingredients are organic, in case you care (I really don't care). Available with sun protection factor 40 and 50. Waterproof 80 minutes. It is easy to apply if you warm it up slightly by rubbing the product with your fingers or leave it in the sun for a few minutes. I feel this sunscreen. They don't joke about using beeswax. This stuff is a little sticky! However, I appreciate that I can physically feel if I've applied enough product to different areas of the body. It takes a little time to be absorbed, but once absorbed it is very moisturizing and pleasant to the touch. Comes in an adorable metal jar so easy to reuse or recycle. It reminds me of Altoids cans and how some people reuse/make art with them. Very compact, takes up almost the entire space. Decent price of $5.62 an ounce. I paid €26.99 for a double pack. Each can contains 2.4 oz. Product. Disadvantages: - The application takes a little longer. It is not always convenient/easy to remove the product from the jar. - If you're not used to the sticky feeling, this can be confusing. - Dirt can get into the pan, which can be uncomfortable to remove. In contrast, a more closed bottle will not have this problem. The glasses are wrapped in a thin piece of plastic, so it's not single-use plastic.

Cons
  • No insurance
