Electronics Well Done

This rugged case has many of the features I was looking for but isn't the perfect solution. The case has a main compartment that is accessible from the top between the handles and a smaller compartment that is accessible from one side. I can live with a large central storage compartment (which has pockets on each side: 1 large one for a laptop and a smaller one on the other side for a tablet) and I use the space in between to stash a slim binder or a few newspapers and a magazine. My laptop is an ASUS UX302L (325W x 226D x 17.2Hmm) and it fits easily in a large bag. Somehow very tight. There are two more zippered compartments on the side of the bag. The larger has 3 equal sized mesh pockets on one side that have very little stretch and access is limited by a narrow zip opening. If you try to tuck handles into one of these, you'll need to pull the top of the flap (the top of the zipper) over the handles to close the zipper. Dedicated pen sized pockets would have been better. I could toss pens in the main center compartment, but then I'd have to fish my hand out and try to find them. A smaller exterior pocket with horizontal access on this side is ideal for storing keys or other smaller, less bulky items. The suitcase is very well made, has a detachable shoulder strap and on the other side a strap for attaching a luggage handle. Overall compact body.
