So what works is that it's a big piece of plastic to sit on and a suction cup to keep it in place. I was hoping to use it in my shower stall to put on shampoo and conditioner because the built in shelves are ridiculously small. So I put that on one of them but it didn't hold the weight at all. He kept leaning forward and pouring out the contents. He could only safely fit the same amount as the tiny shelving he needed to upgrade. Instead, I put it in my bathtub to make room for the bath bombs. It suits me and I'm glad I found a use for it, but I think most people will find it too unstable.
