less than expected. I think the regular backpack you buy in the store is bigger.
This backpack is very well made. This is a good durable bag. However, it is smaller than I expected. It's not small, but it's not big either. We bought this for my granddaughter. It was on her Christmas list. I hope she likes it. I'm not sure all of her books will fit in it. It's more of a medium sized backpack.
