Great value for the money, definitely recommended!

For full use, you must always have a powerbank with you, the charge flies before your eyes. Fortunately, here is Type C and you can find a slip case with an additional battery. I think it would be more correct to make the phone one and a half to two times thicker, but with a normal 4500+ mAh battery, and not follow the fashion for super-thin cases. This is neither convenient nor practical. The rest of the device is cool, for those who like the 6+ inch format.

Pros

The camera is good, the shell is good, the Wi-Fi module supports two frequency bands, 4G flies more confidently than on the previous device (meizu m3s), catches the network better, connects to the GPS satellite better. The speed of unlocking is simply amazing, I was seriously surprised at such a speed. Whatever the fingerprint, what the face, it works instantly, as if there is no blocking at all and the phone just wakes up. Performance in common applications is excellent. I have not tried the game, not a fan. Out of habit, I unload applications from RAM, forgetting that there are already 4 gigs of it) The convenience and thoughtfulness of MIUI will be singled out separately. As for me, this is the best shell for android, everything is very humanly done here. The device will receive official ates for a long time, and then the same number of unofficial ates: on December 5, Xiaomi released the source codes of the Mi 8 Lite kernel, now there will be many custom firmware for those who do not like MIUI.

Cons

The battery is really weak. This is the only drawback that I can single out and call objective. The rest is just my feeling: the oleophobic coating is of poor quality, the finger sticks here, while on the Meizu m3s (an ultra-budget device, $ 80), it glides as it should and responds much better to touch. Perhaps, on Mi 8 Lite, such an effect is due to the fact that the adhesive layer from the screen film has not yet been erased, but this is unlikely. The display has a poor 2.5D effect, the rounding is small and the finger constantly bumps into a sharp edge, which is very inconvenient with MIUI gesture control.
