Review on πŸ‹οΈ BraceAbility Spine Sport Back Brace: Ultimate Support for Active Men and Women in Sports, Fitness, and Occupational Activities (Medium) by Terry West

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good for active sports for people with poor lower back BUT a bit uncomfortable

I have 3 degenerative discs in my lower back and have worn corset back braces for years to cope with alpine skiing, snowshoeing, rafting and kayaking. . When my doctor decided not to write me a brace replacement script, I found this one to basically match what I got from insurance. The only difference - and not a huge one for me, but maybe for others - is the hard, hard plastic bits on either side of the strap when it's against the spine. I'm still comfortable enough wearing the brace in a kayak, but I don't think I'd want to spend hours skiing (which I haven't been doing for a long time anyway) or snowshoeing in it - hard plastic in the flesh near the spine.
