This was a replacement for an aging laptop backpack I had for a number of years. This model seemed to tick all the boxes for size, compartments, quality and style. I've been a Carhartt customer for many years and dare I say this is a generation. For as long as I can remember, my grandfather and father used this brand from an early age. It appeared to be made with the same Carhartt quality I was hoping for. My disappointment soon came after a few weeks of use. The bag doesn't sit on the floor. Rides like an Easter egg in a parade. I wanted a backpack that would keep my stuff in place. Except for adding stilts to the sides, this bag spends all of its time on its face and looks pretty pathetic. I wanted to impress the Carhartt brand. I wanted to love it as much as I love all workwear I own. But I think this model is overkill for me. Buy if you like the brand but don't expect it to catch on.
