Review on Eva Dry Edv 1100 Electric Petite Dehumidifier by Donald Waller

I bought two of these for the apartment my neighbors and I moved into earlier this term as our apartment is very humid. We put one in the bathroom and one in the dining room of our small apartment and they worked really well for a precious few days. However, within three weeks of use, the bathroom one stopped working and began to show the 'full' light as on even when emptied, and therefore would not come on. We examined it and found that the little lever that engaged the float mechanism was loose and seemed to break somehow after being emptied less than a couple times. The other continued to work for a week until he suddenly stopped working. Although the same lever on the second block seemed normal, it still read "full" even when empty. Unfortunately, we did not realize that we have to register products within 30 days of purchase and therefore could not use the manufacturer's warranty. This product is just expensive junk. Don't waste money like us.
