I am a 79 year old female 5'7'137 lbs; carry most of my weight on my butt. I had concerns about the fit as not all of the measurements in the size chart for the size 10, which I always wear in pants, matched my measurements. However, they fit great. PROS: The fabric is wonderful: light, soft stretchy. The top of the pants just covers my belly button, which is a comfortable position for me in practical pants. The waist extension straps are on the sides rather than the back, allowing for a smooth fit around the bottom. The pockets are deep and you can even fit a large cell phone in the back pockets. The zippers on the pockets seem to be quite strong and have little drawstrings to close them easily. They just look good and feel good on me, period. CONS: They really rustle when I leave. I'll wait and see if hiking gets boring.
