No manufacturing issues, very hard seating
We purchased two sets of these stools for our rec room. Although they were easy to put together and seem stable, both the seat and the seat back are hard as rock, no padding, no flex. If I had known how uncomfortable these stools truly were, I would have gladly paid more for something else. Overall: good price, easy assembly, mechanics work as intended, ridiculously uncomfortable.
