so I can't comment on how good they are for science
Like others, I bought these for a steampunk cosplay so I can't comment on how good they are for science, just that they LOOK scientific :) They take spray paint well and the goggle caps unscrew so You can remove the glass (and touch it up if you want!). The elastic is junk, I took it off and threw it away and added my straps which held up well.
Pros
- Certified: Ideal for use in tight spaces or for welding, the Sellstrom Eye Cup meets OSHA and ANSI Z87.1+ standards
