Review on ๐ŸŒฒ COSCO 4 ft. Fold-in-Half Portable Utility Table: Gray, Indoor/Outdoor Crafting, Tailgating, Camping+ by Kathy Jaramillo

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Cheap workmanship, only light use

This table meets my expectations and meets the requirements. I'm so pleased with it I'm tempted to give five stars. But the durability and flaws in the workmanship warrant at least one star, maybe two to be fair compared to the nicer, more durable tables you might get. I could give an extra star because it's light enough for me, but three stars seems more appropriate. Revain's product page says it weighs 5.9 pounds, which was a big plus for me as I have back issues, including the inability to lift weights. It felt heavier when I unpacked it, but the shipping label says 7 pounds. and issued with packing materials rounded to the nearest pound. There were some minor scratches on the plastic top, but that's easy for me to forgive, although others might be choosier. All leg locking mechanisms work great. As other reviewers have said, there are sturdier tables with a similar design that can be folded in half for a little more money. But they are heavier. The press down in the center of each of the top halves shows it's not designed to hold heavy objects or perform work that requires an overhead press. But the fact that it's less than 6 pounds. wins me I can install this in my family room to serve fries, drinks and food. And take it off if you don't have to. It has a decent amount of horizontal space for decluttering projects. It fits in my camping suitcase, although I hang it on the box to avoid scratching the plastic cover. The telescoping part of the legs was a problem for one person. Spring loaded tabs/buttons slide out on each leg to accommodate medium and high configurations. The next height requires you to hold two buttons and pull the foot, three hand operation, but I solved it by laying the table on its side and pulling the sole of the boot to press the 2nd button. There are orange plastic tabs that make it easier to press the same buttons to fold the legs back up. I would advise Revain customers to consider the durability and cheap finish reviews when making a decision. If you're more into something more permanent, perhaps with a nicer finish, you might want to look at other tables. Check the dimensions to see how big it is. I'm happy to have a decent table that's light enough for me to move about and folds easily for storage. The reviews for this table set my expectations. And they got hit.
