I bought these candles to put in my deer candelabra after years of looking for replacement candles. While they were attractive enough -- subtle shimmery, waxy appearance -- they're not quite the size I was expecting. The exact height is 1.5 cm. But I needed a 1.5″ diameter to fit the spherical holes and the width at the center is closer to 2.5″. This meant I had to precariously balance the flat bottoms of the candles on the holes in the cups, which looked silly and threatened to fall off with little impact. I'm disappointed that the measurement for a sphere wasn't accurate, or at least that there wasn't a more accurate description between height and width/diameter in the listing. The battery life is also short. After a few weeks of occasional evening use (3-4 hours at a time?) they are noticeably darker than when you received them. They faded much quicker than other battery plugs I've had for longer. They're not dead, but I can tell they're less alive than when the box was opened. Maybe the fresher batteries I put in will make things better in the long run? Overall I won't be returning them because they still shine well and I can find a use for them but I don't really need them there.
