Carry/Carriage: They have 2 tabs with a small ridge that hold them in place. Pull straight up, although a slight twist might help. See image - red arrows point to protrusions, blue arrows point to slots in the floor into which they are pushed. My daughter will love it but the batteries that came with it were dead. Checked with a tester. I bought new batteries but the siren still doesn't light up and doesn't work. We'll try to get a replacement through Revain. UPDATE: We managed to get the light and siren working about 3 times. Is sporadic. I suspect the button is somehow shrinking incorrectly. Maybe there is a loose part stuck. Since there aren't many things like this with good reviews and it's not available since 12/28/20 I'm still keeping it to myself. Maybe try disassembling the button to fix it. Upgrade to 3 stars. 2. UPDATE: Realized we pressed the wrong part of the ambulance roof. The right place is the roof of the driver/passenger part. Still seems difficult/to hit or miss. I hope we do it right. Upgrade to 4 stars.
