I know this listing says these buffing rods are for use on jewelry but when I saw them they looked like they would be great for my resin work and I was right. Most of the time when making epoxy parts and after they are fully cured and deformed I have to sand down the edges on the underside of the artwork. The 600 mesh side is ideal for the first pass. It has graininess but is still pretty smooth. Then the 3000 mesh side is just right for the final buffing of the edges I just sanded. Seriously, they work great. And the cost is also very reasonable. These sticks are 7 inches (17.7 cm) long and 0.75 inches (1.8 cm) wide. and this set has 4. The 6000 mesh side also polishes my regular jewelry and makes it shine. So I am very satisfied with these polishing rods and the price is right!
