HORRIBLE focus design, easy fix, stylish

These headlights don't turn on the high/low beam properly and they are SO CLOSE. Problem: The manufacturer had to turn on the high beam on one half and the low beam on the other half. Instead, its orientation is clocked at 90º and the two COB LEDs go "high/low", including the top or bottom of the two pointing left and right together. This provides no light separation and simply blinds oncoming drivers. Solution: I used some nickel strips to make the top/bottom divider and attached them with the existing screws. See photo. (Instead of nickel strips, you can easily use heavy aluminum foil). Without them, you get half the light aimed at the ground and blind people _at your expense_. Pros: - Blue anodized aluminum body/heatsink, looks really great when the bike is off. The fan works quite well, nice and quiet and the fan is inside the case so it's really quiet. The design of the fan inside means all my existing ports and rubber cover fit perfectly.- Advertised at 30W, consumes 27W. Close enough, well done, correctly pointed out. Note: consumes 30W with high or low beam, power consumption is constant. I think that's a plus. It all works on my 2004 6th generation Honda VFR800 Interceptor.
