Installs in less than a minute. All I needed was a wrench to remove the old head. Don't be stupid like me: stick tape DIRECTLY onto the threads of the pipe BEFORE screwing on the showerhead. Not after (you can see in the picture where I did it. I just left it after re-doing the tape properly). My friend who knew how, when I told her what I had done, she laughed. Either way, it's less than $14. . It's cheap and it's great. But it's just an AWESOME feeling. It has multiple settings, none of which will feel like hail. So if you need higher pressure massage settings, this may not be for you. But I'm happy with the water pressure. I'm one of those people who find it odd that my head gets a VERY good rinse after shampooing. This will NOT disappoint. Also, I wanted to be a jerk and spend $25-$65 a head *just with a waterfall*. I've seen a few that I liked visually. This setting would become obsolete VERY quickly. Washing my hair with shampoo so thick it feels like I'm standing in the rain is not my thing. So being cheap is a bonus, but I really doubt I'd be happier spending $35. So the price isn't the reason why it gets an excellent rating. That's just a great shower head. Anyone who complains here and leaves bad reviews (except that it's defective) simply has outrageous life expectancies. Or has TERRIBLE water pressure in her house. Or maybe he has more trouble fixing his house than I do. Or he's just never satisfied with anything. Don't be like the homeowner who installs a showerhead as small as 2 inches in diameter, which is equivalent to washing in a public fountain.
