This duvet would have easily earned 5 stars if there hadn't been one major and one minor problem. Firstly it's washable but not tumble dry - if I had known that beforehand I wouldn't have bought it but it's comfortable and great for summer. However, if you live in an apartment, how do you dry your duvet? Throw it on the dining table? No, if the table is made of wood. And not on the furniture, because the ceiling will get wet. Even at home, if you don't have clotheslines, how do you dry them? It's doable, but it's not an easy fix. The second problem: The ceiling forms what we used to call "pills". It triggers small lumps like cotton balls that appear on the sheets under the bed and stick to the linens. Hm. I honestly can't rate this blanket as highly as I would like - if the manufacturers figure out how to make a blanket that can be put in the dryer that would be awesome.
