Rinses out so well after washing

Fits my baby perfectly and looks perfect. The only criticism is that after washing, white stains remain on it. I thought I might have used too much detergent. The next time I hand washed it it still had white stains on it. Then she asked her husband, he hand washed it again, rinsed out the soap so well, and she disappeared. Learned that it needs to be washed as well. Otherwise I love this cap.
