Review on πŸ“Έ Enhance Your Photography with the Vivitar Slave Flash by Antoine Cash

It's worth it!

Also works great with small pocket cameras. A good cooldown is 2-3 seconds. Haven't tried it with NiMH batteries yet to see if it's shorter. Good thing it only uses 2 AA batteries. However, the fixing screw on the bottom of the camera needs to be longer. Just the screws, maybe a thread or two, and it's REALLY easy to cut out a camera hole for a tripod mount. Should be at least 1/8 inch longer. Or cut off the rubber pad that holds the camera. i can try that Also, there is no set screw to secure it in the shoe, so I tightened the channels on the metal part of the shoe to hold it in better. I tried using it normally on my wife's Nikon D60 but it didn't seem to work properly. The camera clicked quite loudly before the shot and didn't seem to blink properly. Although it works great as a slave flash, I bought it in the first place. It will be a good complement to my Fujifilm Finepix s4430, make it look like a professional camera and really help to get better pictures. It's not that the camera doesn't already take great pictures. Only better lighting helps. The small stand that comes with the kit is handy for remotely controlling the flash. I will be buying a few more, probably for my wife and I to use as part of the lighting system.
